Meetings
As a safe space where people on the path to recovery seek wisdom, serenity, courage, and joy, the Castro Country Club is a haven for sober LGBTQ folks and our allies. For people new to recovery, we are an especially welcoming refuge with friendly people who have been where you are at.
Recovery happens in these rooms. The CCC is home to 40+ recovery focused meetings a week, hosting ~40,000 attendees annually. We have hosted fellowships such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Crystal Meth Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Al Anon, Overeaters Anonymous, Food Addicts Anonymous, Under-earners Anonymous, Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous, Codependents Anonymous, Recovery Dharma, SMART Recovery and the one and only Heroin Anonymous meeting in San Francisco.
No matter where you are on your journey to sobriety, you are welcome here. We are open 365 days a year from morning to night. After meetings, we often linger on the spacious back patio or in our full-service coffee shop, proudly serving Peet’s coffee and teas along with food and other beverages.

what people say
“I find it amazing that the Club offers such a wide range of recovery meetings - from food addiction to drug and alcoholism … It’s a place of fellowship.”
“[The Castro Country Club] is a really safe place for me to be when I’m feeling a little squirrely… a place for me to be and learn how to be and reclaim the parts of me that I had let go in the darkness.”
I come to be of service and to inspire those who need inspiring… and to bring happiness to everyone.
